Hexham's Roman Experience - March 13th 2010
To coinicide with the Illuminating Hadrians Wall extravaganza Hexham offered a morning with a Roman theme - Roman pottery demonstration, Roman leatherwork and a Roman centurion himself.
All this alongside Hexham's Award winning Farmers' Market.
The event proved a great success and the town welcomed visitors from around the world who had come to enjoy the illumination of Hadrian's Wall and a relaxing morning in the town.
